About Delhi World Public School Malda

The DELHI WORLD PUBLIC FOUNDATION, a Dipsites Pedagogy System and Knowledge Initiative pioneered by a group of graduates from the Delhi World Public School Malda who have since made a mark in the world, seek to take education to a higher level; an overall holistic, comprehensive and focussed initiative to produce all-rounded human beings. What we emphasize is the road we are taking to get there – perhaps the road less travelled; but a road which we hope is filled with adventure, with curiosity, with wonder.

Our Mission

Delhi World Public School Malda aim to instil in each child a sense of inquisitiveness and exploration, and an urge for experimentation, observation and synthesis. We endeavour to free the learning process from the confines of the four walls of classrooms and take it further to activity workshops, resource centres, laboratories and library, teaching less for learning more.Every child is encouraged to inculcate the values of citizenry a commitment to good health, high values and sensitivity to the environment. We strive to guide and support each child in their his or her own special way.

Green School Concept

We are committed to instilling the concept of sustainability in our students and staff.

Our Schools have a botanical garden where possible, which provides children the opportunity to experience the magnificence and vast variation in trees, plants and herbs.

Our Home Science laboratory provides students with practical knowledge and skills related to life in the home.
Students explore issues of everyday life, nutrition, health, hospitality, improving relationships in the family, energy efficiency, waste disposal, etc.

The Math Lab allows students to explore mathematical concepts via games, puzzles and other modern teaching aids.

Our Language Laboratory is fitted with latest multimedia equipment and audio-visual aids.
Students are able to practise speaking a new language, record their work and take part in interactive sessions to improve their language skills while enjoying the experience.

We provide facilities to students for self expression via music and dance. Students who want to seriously sing or play an instrument or learn formal dance are given additional support outside school curriculum. Students demonstrate their learning at annual school events.

In terms of teaching, Delhi World Public Schools follow the guidance of the Education and Resource Council of the Delhi Public World Foundation, which comprises eminent names in the world of education.

We provide a limited number of scholarships annually to encourage a spirit of excellence in academic subjects as well as other accomplishments such a community spirit and camaraderie amongst peers. Our aim is to help students identify their full potential.

We closely monitor the work of our teachers and review their performance regularly through teacher appraisals to assess their knowledge and skills, their attitude and behaviour in the effective users and interpreters of language in a variety of forms and situation.
The fully equipped Language Laboratory shall enable students to practise speaking with correct Pronunciation, Intonation and Expression.
